Born and raised in Kannapolis, North Carolina, attorney Madison Crabtree has a personal connection to the community she now serves. After growing up in Cabarrus County, she pursued an education focused on criminal justice and law before returning home to begin her legal career.

Madison represents clients in criminal law, DWI/DUI, traffic violations and other legal matters. Her background combines a Criminal Justice education with extensive law-school training in advocacy, trial advocacy and appellate advocacy.

For Madison, practicing law in Cabarrus County means having the opportunity to advocate for people in the same community that helped shape who she is.

Returning Home to Serve Her Community

Madison's connection to Cabarrus County began long before she became an attorney. She was born and raised in Kannapolis and attended A.L. Brown High School, where she met her fiancé, Chad, while they were both members of the school's drum line.

Her interest in the legal system led her to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2021. She then continued her education at Liberty University School of Law.

After completing law school, Madison had the opportunity to begin her career representing people in the area she has always considered home.

Madison's education reflects a consistent interest in criminal justice and advocacy, beginning with her undergraduate studies and continuing throughout law school.

Madison graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.

Liberty University School of Law

Madison earned her J.D. from Liberty University School of Law in 2025. While there, she pursued specific areas of study in advocacy, trial advocacy and appellate advocacy.

Moot Court & Alternative Dispute Resolution

Madison served as a brief writer for the Liberty Moot Court Team from 2023 through 2025 and was a member of the Liberty Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. These experiences provided additional opportunities to develop legal research, writing and advocacy skills.

Leadership & Academic Support

Madison served as Secretary and later Vice President of the Student Bar Association. She also worked as a tutor for Liberty's Academic Success Center.

Home Is Cabarrus County

For Madison, Cabarrus County isn't simply where she practices law. It's where her story began.

She was born and raised in Kannapolis and later attended UNC Charlotte before leaving the area for law school. Her decision to practice in her home county gives her the opportunity to use her legal education and advocacy training in the community she has known throughout her life.

Her connection to the area is personal as well. Madison and her fiancé, Chad, met while they were students at A.L. Brown High School and members of the school's drum line. They are engaged and have two cats, Annie and Sabrina.

After years spent preparing for a career in law, Madison is proud to be back home representing people in Kannapolis, Concord and throughout Cabarrus County.
